There’s no time like the present to start planning for the new year

It’s already time to start planning for the new year! 2025 Comox Valley Conservation Partnership calendars are on sale online and at retail locations in Courtenay, Comox, and Cumberland.

The calendar showcases photographs of local plants, wildlife, and natural areas. Each month profiles one of the Partnership groups working to protect and restore our watersheds and natural areas.

“The Comox Valley Land Trust publishes the calendar annually to support the activities of the Comox Valley Conservation Partnership program,” said Tim Ennis, CVLT executive director. “Funds raised help the program carry out education and other conservation efforts, such as the protection and restoration of the Valley’s watersheds and last remaining sensitive ecosystems.”

Publication and distribution of the calendar is a real community effort. Photos are contributed by members of the Comox Valley Camera Club and other photographers who have entered the Comox Valley Land Trust’s annual photo contest. Twelve local businesses support the publishing and printing costs, including significant contributions from Sure Copy and Dentist Dr Chris Becir Inc. Volunteers, community groups, and local retail businesses participate by selling calendars.

Calendars can be ordered online or purchased in Courtenay at Canadian Tire, Edible Island Foods, Gardenworks (formerly Art Knapp’s), Laughing Oyster Bookstore, London Drugs, The Old Farm Market, Thrifty Foods, The Refillery, and Uranus Gifts. In Comox you will find copies at Blue Heron Books, Island Affair Gifts and Compass Gallery and Gifts at the Airport. Cumberland residents can purchase calendars at Seeds Market.

The calendars retail for $20 each. Follow the link below to order your calendar online.
