BRIAN & SARAH MCLOUGHLIN PARK

The McLoughlin Gardens drought-resistant flora was designed to blend in with the native ecosystems of the northern Strait of Georgia. The property was donated to the CVRD as parkland by the McLoughlin family with a conservation covenant held by the CVLT. The McLoughlin Gardens Society leases the summer cottage on the property from the CVRD for an artist-in-residence program.

There is a steep hill down to the house and gardens, from which there are beautiful views of the Salish Sea. A trail runs through the woods.

The park is located at 814 Tasman Road, off Williams Beach Road in Merville. Parking is available by the park entrance.  Dogs are allowed on leash; cycling is permitted. Be bear aware in this park.
