PERSEVERANCE CREEK

Our partners at the Cumberland Community Forest Society worked hard to negotiate the acquisition of over 90 hectares of riparian and upland forest on either side of Perseverance Creek in Cumberland for conservation purposes. These lands were identified by the CVLT conservation planning work as the #1-ranked priority site in the Comox Valley.

The Comox Valley Land Trust holds a conservation covenant over these lands to ensure that the conservation, watershed protection and low-impact recreation vision for the area is protected in perpetuity.
